Hanging Murals

1. MATERIALS NEED TO HANG YOUR WALL MURAL

bucket for mixing the paste 1 brush or roller for applying the paste
paper knife for any trimming
tapestry brush or soft cloth to press paper flat
large measuring stick
packet non-staining wall paper paste

2. PREPARATION OF THE WALL SURFACE

The wall surface must be dry. Clean and smooth. Any rough areas must be smoothed out. All old wallpaper should be removed and oil-based paints rubbed down. Hint: You will obtain a perfect result when working at a room temperature of 18*-20*C

3. PREPARATION FOR MOUNTING

Lay the Idealdecor Wall Mural out on the floor in front of the prepared wall to check that the positions of the different sheets match. Compare the size of the wallpaper with the prepared wall. When measuring the wall, pencil markings will facilitate perfect right-angle mounting

4. MOUNTING THE WALL MURAL

Please follow exactly the manufacturer's instructions when preparing and using the paste. Spread the lower left sheet carefully and equally with paste. Place this sheet on the pre-marked position and rub over with the tapestry brush carefully from the middle outwards until smooth. Any paste which remains on the front of the picture must be gently wiped off with a slightly damp cloth. Overlap all sections by 1/8 inch and finish by trimming any excess. Hang remaining sheets in the same manner.
